100 Days of Prayer for Women: What to Pray During Your Busiest Days by Carolyn Larsen

USUKU 4 KWEZINGU- 7

Oh Lord,

I long to sense your presence . . . to know you are paying attention to every moment, every situation I’m facing. I ache to remember that because I’m scared, and I need assurance that you are guiding my uncertain steps and my faltering speech. I know you’ve promised that, Lord . . . I do. It’s just that sometimes I feel so far away from you and then . . . well, it’s hard. I get confused and afraid. I need to know you’re walking the pathway with me, even going ahead of me.

Help me trust. Help me grab onto the promises in your Word. Loving Father, fill my heart with the reality of your strength and power. Help me remember that nothing is happening in my life right now that surprises you. Remind my struggling heart that there’s no reason to be frightened because I can trust that you are in control. Of course, I know you are, Lord, but I’m worn down to the point that my tired, aching heart needs a reminder of your comfort and encouragement.

Oh, Father, I need your help to keep my mind and heart centered on you, depending on and trusting in you. Thank you for hearing my prayer.
