21 Days of CelebrationIsampula
Day 17
“LORD, you are my God; I will honour you and praise your name. You have done amazing things; you have faithfully carried out the plans you made long ago.”
Isaiah 25:1 GNB
Question:
It is easy to celebrate the amazing things God does. When did you last celebrate the fact that God has a plan for you, and that this plan is carried out for you every day?
Application:
Create for yourself a memory map: Look back and note the amazing things God has done for you (like Isaiah has reflected).
Now, draw a line that is going to serve as a timeline through these moments and events, and see how God has done great things all through your history.
At the bottom of your page note 3-4 key moments that you believe are part of God's purposes in your life. Ensure you don’t take this journey alone. Rather, share what you reflect with a trusted friend or a spiritual leader in your life. Let it be the focus of a celebration of the God who does amazingly faithful things In you.
Prayer:
Father, sometimes it is easy to forget the great and amazing things you have done. It is evident that you have been at work in my life, even in the difficult times. Your faithfulness and faith in me astounds me. I am amazed. I celebrate you! Thank you God!

Take the adventure through God's word and see transformation in your life as you exercise the muscles of celebration. Much is made about the need for a reason to celebrate. To truly understand the Good News is to focus away from striving for personal accomplishment and instead, walking with the Father God, receiving all that has been accomplished through Jesus on our behalf, empowering us for a life of celebration.
