Bibla Shqip 2018 "Së bashku" Ka kaluar rreth një shekull e gjysmë qëkur Kostandin Kristoforidhi përktheu Dhiatën e Re në shqip për llogari të Shoqërisë Biblike. Sërish në 2007 ajo ka përkthyer dhe botuar, një përkthim të ri të Dhiatës së Re. Menjëherë pas përfundimit të punës për përkthimin e Dhiatës së Re, Shoqëria Biblike nisi punën për përkthimin e plotë të Biblës. Një pjesë e madhe e Dhiatës së vjetër tashmë ka përfunduar së përkthyeri. Falë Zotit, gjatë këtyre viteve të pas-komunizmit, kanë parë dritën e botimit edhe përkthime të tjera të Dhiatës së Re dhe Dhiatës së vjetër në shqip. Pikërisht, ky përkthim i ri i Shoqërisë Biblike ka marrë jetë duke ndërtuar mbi këtë përvojë të vyer, si dhe duke u mbështetur te profesionalizmi i Shoqërive Biblike të Bashkuara (United Bible Societies) në fushën e përkthimit dhe botimit të Biblës. Teksti origjinal greqisht, prej nga u krye përkthimi, është: The Greek New Testament, Fourth Revised Edition, botuar nga United Bible Societies. Ndërsa për Dhiatën e vjetër, teksti origjinal hebre është marrë nga: Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia. Gjatë tërë punës, përkthyesit kanë mbajtur parasysh dy synime kryesore: së pari të nxjerrin një tekst në shqip që të jetë sa më i kuptueshëm për lexuesin shqiptar sot; së dyti t’i qëndrojnë sa më besnik tekstit origjinal. Ky botim ka edhe veçantinë se është frut i punës së përbashkët i të gjitha konfesioneve të krishtera të pranishme në Shqipëri. © Shoqëria Biblike Ndërkonfesionale 2018 Albanian Bible 2018 "Së bashku" More than one century has past since Kostandin Kristoforidhi translated the New Testament in Albanian for the British and Foreign Bible Society (BFBS). In 2007 the Interconfessional Bible Society of Albania has been able to publish a new translation of the New Testament. Immediately after publishing the Albanian New Testament Së bashku, the Bible Society also started working on the Old Testament in Albanian, translating from the original language in Hebrew. The translation is now almost finished and will be ready to be published soon. Thanks God, during the years of the post communism, there have been different publications of the Bible in Albanian. This new translation from the Bible Society has taken life, taking to account the precious experience of the past translations and has been guided by the professionalism and long history of the United Bible Societies in the field of Bible translation and publishing. The original text from which this New Testament was translated is the Greek New Testament, Fourth Revised Edition, published by the United Bible Societies (UBS). For the Old Testament translation, the original text is taken from Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia. Throughout their work, the translators have been guided by two major principles: firstly the translation had to carry out a text in an understandable Albanian for the Albanian reader of today; and secondly to stay faithful to the original text. This publication is special also because it is a fruit of the common work of all the Christian confessions in Albania: Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant, hence its name Së bashku which means altogether. © Interconfessional Bible Society of Albania 2018
