All will culminate in God's Kingdom
We are approaching the feast of the birth of Christ. And we celebrate it in a remarkable time. What a pity that there are so many constraints and that we miss a bit of the atmosphere and the warmth of the feast. There are some brothers and sisters who have a pessimistic view and they wonder what is yet to come. We also see how Israel is constantly under attack.
Therefore, it is important to realise that there is more than the birth of the Lord Jesus. This was only the beginning. Jesus, as the Lamb of God, would take away the sins of the world and overcome death. And this is how we see Him in Revelation 5: the Lion of the tribe of Judah. This is how He is called in the dwellings of God. He carries this name, which indicates His connection to Israel, even now. And, as we read, He holds the future in His hands. He is the Alpha and the Omega; no one can compete with this!
In these days, we may join in the praise and worship that Jesus receives in heaven:‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strengthand honor and glory and praise!’
Prayer:
Lord God, we thank and praise You and we glorify Your Son with the words we just read (Revelation 5:12-13).

關於此計劃
In this Advent season, it is a meanigful time for us, as Gentile believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to ask ourselves: what is our identity? Are we rooted in the whole word of God – including the prophecies of the Old and New Testaments? Are we looking for the coming of the Messiah, the Light of the world (John 8:12), who will reign from Jerusalem 'in the midst of His people Jacob'? Join us for daily reflections this Advent as we prepare our hearts and look forward with anticipation. Author: Rev. Henk Poot, Christians for Israel
