The Beloved Mom: Encouragement From Jesus, Just for You預覽
For the Mom Who Feels Overwhelmed
I prayed and asked the Lord for an encouraging word for the mom who feels overworked and overwhelmed.
I feel the Lord say...
Dear one, the Lord will help you with whatever is stressing you today. He sees how hard you work- all the piles of laundry, cooking, cleaning, navigating sibling fusses, and how hard you try to love your family and create a Christian home. He sees it all, and He wants you to know He is so proud of you!
Don't get distracted by all the work; don't let it overwhelm and consume you. Lift your eyes to heaven and ask God to help you with every detail of your day. He delights in you so much, and He LOVES to help you!
Remember, you have the Holy Spirit inside you, and He is your power source. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and not on all of the things that feel overwhelming. Ask Him to help you live in His love with purpose in your season. He can help you get more done in less time; He is outside of time and is not bound by time as we know it, so He can multiply your efforts in your home so you can rise above all of the stress and the work.
As you depend on Him to help you, you will automatically live with more purpose in your home, and you will be able to have the energy to be a joyful mom who shares Christ with her kids and helps them to be Kingdom-minded.
On a side note, I feel the Lord wants me to tell you to ask Him to help you put your phone down more, so you can have more full days with your kids.
Lastly, but firstly, Jesus wants you to know that He deeply loves you! Ask Him to help you know His love more personally, let His love change you, and help you become who He says you are!
“Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.” Psalm 54:4 NIV
“The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.” Psalm 37: 23-24 NLT
