Day 4: Full Action

Now we will dive into what “full action” looks like. The definition of full means not lacking or omitting anything. The Hebrew boys have been a great example of putting bold belief into full action. They didn’t just BELIEVE in their God but decided to try God for themselves. They took the confidence in their heart and combined it with the wisdom of God’s sovereignty, which caused their faith to be fully activated.

They didn’t lack in their belief or their trust. They built a personal relationship with God and knew His faithfulness. Psalms 33:4 CEV The Lord is truthful; he can be trusted. They also knew that trust goes both ways, so if they honored God and were found trustworthy, God would be faithful unto them in whatever they experienced in His name. Psalms 9:10 CEV Everyone who honors your name can trust you, because you are faithful to all who depend on you.

Their full belief and trust through faith caused them to omit nothing. That means they stood by their decision not to backtrack nor bow down, even though that meant a consequence of suffering and death. They took no plea deal and no shortcuts. They told the king what their only option was, and humbly they entered the fiery furnace. And just as they believed and obeyed, without any evidence, their God stepped in and kept them covered.
