Spiritual Intelligence and the Weapons of the Proverbs 31 Woman預覽
Weapons: Meekness and Fellowship/Divine Relationships
She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. Proverbs 31:17 (KJV)
The strengthening of her arms reminds me of Moses, a man once described as the meekest man on earth (Numbers 12:3). Exodus 17:12 (NIV) says, “When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.” Despite all his encounters with God, Moses was humble enough to receive help from his brothers. He strengthened his leadership skills at one time by receiving wise counsel from his father-in-law (Exodus 18:13-26). God used other men to strengthen Moses’ capacity to overcome challenges, and meekness positioned Moses to receive.
A Proverbs 31 Woman is not a lone ranger. Like Moses, she has battle buddies. A Proverbs 31 Woman maximizes divine relationships because she is meek. God gives grace to the humble, and grace for the strength to do God's will (1 Peter 5:5; Proverbs 3:34).
Like Moses, a Proverbs 31 woman needs divine relationships for spiritual, mental, and physical strength. God wants us to be connected to other believers for fellowship and strength. That’s why the Bible describes the Church, Zion, as the epicenter for receiving strength. Psalm 84:7 (KJV) says, “They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.” And Hebrews 12:22-23 (KJV) says, “ But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect”.
In the New Testament, the Church is Zion. Oh, the depth of strength that comes from fellowshipping in church with other believers! I trivialized assembling with other believers until my eyes were opened to the difference between corporate and individual anointing. We need to experience God both in our homes and places of fellowship with other believers. That's one reason the scripture says, "not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching." Hebrews 10:25 (AMP).
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing (Psalm 92:13-14). Active membership in a Bible-centered local church family is crucial for spiritual growth and access to psychosocial support that aligns with our faith values.
Fellowship and divine relationships are spiritual weapons. We need brothers and sisters whose prayers will set us free from life’s prisons, in the days of persecution and trials of faith (Acts 12:5-11). We need divine relationships to stay strengthened in the faith. We need godly relationships to fully benefit from the spiritual gifts God has given to believers. I need you, and you need me. I have spiritual gifts you may not have, and you have unique gifts I do not possess—even if we have the same gifts, we may minister them differently based on our individual experiences. Developing relationships with fellow believers will strengthen us in good and bad times.
Be planted in a biblically grounded church. Ask God to lead you to the right church and align you with divine relationships.
