Jesus, our way, our truth, our life!

I remember a cold and rainy day when I was in London. (I'm not sure I've seen it any different there!) There were a lot of homeless people on the street, but I couldn't get this one man out of my mind. So, I decided to walk the rather long way back to bring him a warm meal. I was excited and curious about his reaction. London isn't exactly cheap, and the meal had cost me something.

I was all the more disappointed when he simply reached for it and showed no reaction. He put the warm food next to him—on the ground. When I thought about it this morning, I had to remember that God must often feel the same way about us. He has given us His very best, the possibility of a relationship with Him, through His Son!

"...'I am the way, the truth, and the life…'" (John 14:6, NKJV)!

Everything we need is found in this verse!

1. Are you wondering what your future should look like?

Jesus is the way!

1. How will you know what's right or wrong for your life?

Jesus is the truth!

1. Are you tired of the state of the world or your personal situation?

Jesus is the life!

All of this our Father in heaven has "laid at our feet." In all honesty, the homeless man looked heavily intoxicated. Perhaps he hadn't been able to perceive the good he had received.

Perhaps we, too—because of the abundance we have in the world—no longer perceive what God has given us that's so valuable and WONDERFUL!

But in this gift that cost God so much (see John 3:16) is everything you need for your future!!

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—and He has already given you all of this as the most precious gift!
