Unstoppable God預覽
A mountain stands in front of you…
An ocean separates you from your healing…
You are in the middle of your storm…
We love analogies. Visuals that represent the struggle of our current situation, our dilemmas, even our emotions. How would you describe your current situation? What analogies would you use? Think about it.
Are you stuck between a rock and a hard place? Is the rubber meeting the road?
You are not alone. This message is for you.
Jesus can move your mountain!
He can part the seas!
He speaks peace to storms!
Take heart, dear friends.
Your faith is strong.
You’re beautiful in His eyes.
But can I be honest? Cancer is not a mountain, it is a disease. Losing a loved one is not a storm, it is a life-altering event that leaves a hole in your heart. Abuse is not an analogy at all; it is a pain that can transform us into shells of who we are meant to be. Simply describing the horrors of humanity with analogies does not do justice to the hurt that you may be feeling.
Some things are indescribable.
Jesus knew this. In John 14 He told His disciples that although He was leaving them, they would receive both Comfort (16) and Peace (27).
You see, a moved mountain or a path through the ocean is a one-time event. Miracles done by a God who is over the natural as well as the spiritual. These things should be celebrated and even hoped for. Yet how much more should we celebrate a Creator who says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you"! Who conquered death, so that we can face it with hope! Who tells us that this is not the end, that it is only the beginning! Who sees us for who we are, not for what we’ve done or for what has been done to us!
His Grace is sufficient.
He loves you
He is Unstoppable!
Today, trust in a God who overcame death, hell, and the grave! Who offers hope in the darkest of situations! Who promises rest!
He is the God of the impossible… He truly is Unstoppable!
