Repent And Be Converted預覽
Repent And Be Converted.
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19 KJV
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Repent” is, ‘Metanoeō’ (G3340) which means, “To change one's mind, to change one's mind for better, heartily to amend with abhorrence of one's past sins.” Choose to turn away from sin. Allow God to wash your heart from the stains of the past. Let God transform you completely. Let Christ renew your heart. Let Christ breathe on every aspect of your life.
When you surrender to Christ, the old man dies and the new man comes alive. When you accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior, He gives you the power to tread over the stronghold of sin. When you are in Christ, it is your choice to either serve sin or to surrender to Christ.
When you are in Christ, you do not have to cling to the sins, entanglements, and addictions of the past. When you repent and turn to God, He gives you the power, strength, and fortitude to overcome sin in every area of your life. When you are in Christ, He blots out your sin completely — He remembers it no more.
When you surrender your ways to Christ, there is nothing that can keep you bound to the old way of doing things. Your old man is gone and God breathes His Spirit into you. When you repent, His Blood covers you and washes you completely. When you receive Christ you have a new life in Him.
“So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19 AMPC. Be refreshed in Christ. Be renewed in Christ.
