PURPOSE

“Your kingdom come, Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.”

Oftentimes, we approach God and tell Him our needs and desires. We pray for our “kingdom” and plans to come to pass. However, Jesus teaches us to seek His Kingdom over ours. God’s purpose is higher than our purpose. He’s a good Father who wants to give you an abundant life. Instead of praying your own will, pray to get God’s will for you.

God will bring His kingdom through us, not because of us. We must first have a desire to see God’s Kingdom come, and then partner in seeing it happen. Are you willing to lay down your will for the perfect will of God?
