have worked salvation for him.
2The Lord has #Isa. 49:6; 52:10; Luke 2:30, 31; [Isa. 59:16; 63:5] made known his salvation;
he has #Isa. 62:2; Rom. 3:25, 26 revealed his righteousness in #Ps. 96:2, 3the sight of the nations.
3He has #Luke 1:54, 72 remembered his #See Ps. 36:5 steadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All #Ps. 22:27 the ends of the earth have seen
# ver. 2 the salvation of our God.
4 # See Ps. 66:1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
#
Isa. 44:23
break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
5Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
with the lyre and the #Isa. 51:3sound of melody!
6With #Num. 10:10; 1 Chr. 15:24 trumpets and the sound of #2 Chr. 15:14 the horn
# [See ver. 4 above] make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!
7 #
Ps. 96:11 Let the sea roar, and #Ps. 24:1all that fills it;
#
Ps. 24:1
the world and those who dwell in it!
8Let the rivers #Isa. 55:12; [Ps. 93:3] clap their hands;
let #Ps. 89:12the hills sing for joy together
9before the Lord, for he comes
