The Word Of God Plan預覽
What is the Word of God like?
God knows that for us to understand something we often have to relate a new idea to an old idea. The Bible describes itself using a number of metaphors. Those metaphors help us to understand Scriptures in a new way. God’s Word is a seed, a light, food (have you been starving yourself of God’s nourishment – spiritual anorexia?), a foundation, a fire, a hammer, a helmet and a sword.
"The Bible is alive, it speaks to me; it has feet, it runs after me; it has hands, it lays hold of me."
--Martin Luther
