Next, reflect as you re-read Romans 1:16-17. Ask God to send his Holy Spirit to help you understand the central theme of Romans - Through Jesus' death and resurrection, God has defeated sin and death, united Jews and Gentiles into one family, and given us his Spirit to live transformed lives of love and sacrifice.
What's Next?
As believers in Jesus, we are called to become more like Jesus. This happens as we see him in God's Word (2 Corinthians 3:18). So, we invite you to keep looking for Jesus on every page of the Bible.
