Reading With the People of God - #6 LOVE

31 天中的第 1 天

Memorization Challenge: 1 Corinthians 13.

Along with our daily readings this month, we’ll also work on memorizing 1 Corinthians 13. Each week, we’ll focus on learning one section at a time until we’ve memorized the entire chapter. By committing this passage to memory, you’re not just learning Scripture—you’re embedding God’s profound principles of love into your heart.

THIS WEEKS SECTION TO RECITE AND MEMORIZE: vs. 1-3

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Each day, this plan includes a brief "primer" to help you reflect on the day's readings. This "Primer" is designed to help you engage with and connect to the broader community of believers through daily readings and reflections.

Reading Primer: Pray this...

Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
As we turn to Your Holy Word, we ask for Your presence to guide us. Heavenly Father, open our hearts to receive Your truth with humility and trust, knowing that every word comes from Your perfect wisdom. Lord Jesus, the Living Word, shine Your light upon the Scriptures, that we may see You more clearly and follow You more faithfully. Holy Spirit, breathe life into our understanding, transforming our minds and drawing us deeper into the knowledge of Christ.
May this time in Your Word draw us into communion with You, O God, and conform us more fully to the image of Your Son. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we pray. Amen.

Reading With the People of God - #6 LOVE

This is the sixth part of a reading plan through the Bible, following the lectionary pattern of reading in the Psalms, Old Testament, and New Testament each day. In addition, each day this month will feature a memorization challenge for 1 Corinthians 13 (The Love Chapter), and there will be brief devotionals from different people in our Church scattered throughout the plan.
