Day 2: The Power to Get Wealth
Wealth in God’s kingdom is not just about accumulating money; it’s about living in the fullness of His provision and blessing. Deuteronomy 8:18 reveals that it is God who gives us the power to get wealth. This power is not just an ability to earn an income but includes wisdom, opportunities, creativity, and favor. God’s provision is comprehensive, ensuring that we have all we need to fulfill His purposes for our lives.
Our journey from financial ruin to financial stability in one year was not a result of our own strength or wisdom but of God’s power at work within us. When we surrendered our situation to Him, He began to open doors, provide opportunities, and give us the wisdom to manage our resources effectively. 2 Corinthians 9:8 emphasizes that God is able to bless us abundantly, providing all that we need so that we can abound in every good work. This abundance is not just for our personal comfort but for the purpose of blessing others and advancing God’s kingdom.
Proverbs 10:22 reminds us that the blessing of the Lord brings wealth without painful toil. This doesn’t mean we don’t work hard, but rather that our efforts are blessed and multiplied by God’s favor. The key is recognizing that true wealth comes from God’s blessing, not from human striving or manipulation.
**Prayer:**
Father, I acknowledge that You are the source of all wealth. Thank You for giving me the power to get wealth and for blessing my efforts. Help me to steward the resources You provide in a way that honors You and blesses others. Amen.
