Seven Reasons to Not Fear預覽
God goes before you
“I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.” (Isaiah 45:2)
This promise was made to Cyrus, but it belongs to all of the Lord's faithful servants. If we move forward with faith, our path will be made straight for us. The twists and turns of human cunning and satanic deception will be smoothed out; we won't need to navigate their deceitful schemes. The doors of bronze will be shattered, and the iron bars holding them closed will be broken. We won't require battering rams or crowbars; the Lord Himself will accomplish the impossible for us, turning the unexpected into reality.
Let's not succumb to cowardly fear. Instead, let's continue on the path of duty, for the Lord has promised, "I will go before you." Our role isn't to question why; it's simply to be bold and move forward. It's the Lord's task, and He will empower us to carry it out; all obstacles must yield to Him. Hasn't He declared, "I will break in pieces the doors of bronze"? What can thwart His intentions or hinder His decrees? Those who serve God have boundless resources. The path is clear to faith even if it's obstructed to human strength.
When the Lord declares, "I will," as He does twice in this promise, we cannot doubt.

They take you to the prophets, psalms, history of the Old Testament and encouragement found in the New Testament to convince you of God’s power over anything that may cause us to fear. These devotionals were written by the great preacher C.H. Spurgeon, and updated to modern English.
