Stop Living Like an Imposter預覽
It’s time to be yourself
On day one of this devotional you dived into the middle of Jacob's story. Today you start at the beginning.
Before Jacob was born God spoke a promise over him, that his older brother would serve him and his people would prosper.
There was already a blessing waiting for him.
He didn’t need to take it he just needed to trust it.
If you lack confidence in yourself, your abilities, and your gifting, know that God lacks no confidence in you.
There is a blessing and promise over your life, you don’t need to take it, you just need to trust it.
He has made you exactly how you are, to be who you are to inherit what He has spoken for you and only you to receive.
What we learn from Jacob is when we allow imposter syndrome to creep into our lives, we run the risk of becoming imposters.
He allowed external influences to internally compromise his integrity and his identity.
He wasted years being someone he was not living in conflict, instead of contentment and if you need reminding of who you are scripture says-
You are a child of God.
You are loved.
You are chosen.
You are set apart.
You are forgiven.
You are redeemed.
You are blessed.
Don’t waste any more of your time living in doubt or fear, pretending to be something or someone else you are not, listening to external influences but simply answer this “What is your name….. when you know it, who truly can stop you?”
