1. Ask three friends to do this study with you. (Men and women are in separate groups of 4 each.)
2. Everybody does the study on their own.
3. When all 4 finished the study, meet and discuss what you have discovered.
4. It is of utmost importance to move from information to obedience. Studying the Bible gives information and revelation. Obedience is the practical application. Discuss how to apply what you have discovered.

7. This series of 25 studies will help you grow as a disciple and a disciple-maker, giving you practical guidelines to lead others to the Lord and make them disciples and disciple-makers.
Read the following Scripture passages
Matthew 13:1-9 and 13:18-23
Ask three questions as you read:
1. What do we learn about God from this passage? How is God revealing Himself to us in this passage: His character, works, commands, and promises?
2. What do I learn about myself or people from this passage? What is God expecting from me? What needs to change in my life? What are my responsibilities?
3. How can I apply and integrate these truths in my life? How must I obey God? How can I be a blessing to other people? What and for whom can I pray from this passage?
From information to obedience: After studying Matthew 13:1-9 and 13:18-23, what do you sense the Holy Spirit is saying and asking you to do? Because it is God speaking here, you have to respond. What must change in life? Is there something that you sense – in the light of our discussion and these Scripture passages - you need to do in the coming week? How can you be a blessing to other people around you? Be very specific.
Pray: What is there that you need to pray about in the light of the Scriptures you studied?
Pray for your own growth as a disciple and disciplemaker. If you do this as a group of four, pray also for the others in your group.
