Authority, Restored to Man by Jesus Christ!

Who has this authority now? When Jesus died and was resurrected, He said: "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me" (Matthew 28:18). Jesus also tells us: "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." (Luke 10:19)

Jesus speaking of snakes and scorpions is not referring to animals but to demonic spiritual entities, an image evoking what crawls on the earth.

So, Jesus was saying: "I give you authority on Earth." We do not have authority in heaven, but we do have authority on Earth! This authority is not the same as that of Adam and Eve; it is delegated. Jesus still has this authority on Earth, but He delegates it to us. That's why we pray in the name of Jesus because we have this authority, in a delegated manner.

The Bible says in Ephesians 2:6 that we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Just as Satan could present himself before the Heavenly Court because he had authority on Earth, now we can do so, being seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, thanks to this delegated authority.

Just as Satan could, with this authority, bring calamity on Earth, we can now bring all the blessings of Heaven to Earth.

Do you understand this notion of authority and all that it implies? Your spirit is in you and at the same time seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. It's a reality that may seem complex, but it's what we live: your spirit is in you and simultaneously seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

And this also allows us to be in the Heavenly Court and to live the reality and the principles related to the Heavenly Court.

So, understand this reality, when you read the Word of God: today, Satan no longer has authority on Earth, and what happened in the book of Job can no longer happen. The accuser of the brethren, who accused the brethren before God, can no longer do so, for the Bible says: "Rejoice, you heavens," but on the other hand "Woe to you on Earth."

He can no longer present himself before the Throne of God and awaits his judgment, angry, trying to take as many as possible with him to hell. Satan will not reign in hell; he will be thrown like all the others into hell.

Pray with me:

Lord Jesus, thank you for the authority you have delegated to us! Oh, how, by the power of Your sacrifice, Your blood, Your name, Your word, I want to manifest this authority and see You glorified. Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, Amen!
