A Glimpse of Infinity (Deep Space Edition) - 7 Days of Photography & Prayers預覽
God of the Galaxies
PRAYER FOR TODAY
God of the galaxies, where can we go from Your Spirit? Where can we flee from Your presence? If we go up to the heavens, You are there; if we make our bed in the depths, You are there. If we rise on the wings of the dawn, if we settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide us, Your right hand will hold us fast (Psalm 139:7-10).
God, we acknowledge Your infinite power and awe. There’s nothing we could do for You that would change Your character, and there’s nothing we could build for You that could contain Your glory. In all of this, You chose us before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before You (Ephesians 1:4); thank You, Father. Please help us to be good stewards of the incomprehensible grace You have shown us.
ONE QUESTION
Am I regularly praying for wisdom, discernment, and a heart that remains faithful to God's truth?
ABOUT THIS PHOTO
- NGC 4321 (also known as Messier 100) is a grand design intermediate spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Coma Berenices.
To capture this image, I used the FSQ-106 530mm f/5 telescope, the Paramount MyT (to follow the earth's rotation), and the QSI 683wsg-8 (8300) camera. To render all the data, I photo-stacked 116 x 600 second exposures for a total of 19.33 hours of data.
