Alpha & Omega預覽
Observe & Interpret
1. Read: Revelation 20.1-10. Summarize this passage in your own words.
2. Who are the individuals seated on thrones during the millennial kingdom? How is this kingdom different from the theocracy established in ancient Israel and the spiritual kingdom established through the church? (See Micah 5.2-5a)
3. What is the initial destination for Satan following his defeat in Revelation 19? Where is he “bound”? (See Luke 16.19-26)
4. Read Revelation 20.11-15. Summarize this passage in your own words.
5. What takes place at the Great White Throne judgment? How are different books used? How does this judgment compare to other judgments promised in the New Testament? (See Matthew 11.20-22; Matthew 25.31-32; 2 Corinthians 5.10)
Apply
1. Why is it such a temptation to place our hope in the “kingdoms” we build in our lives instead of the kingdom promised by God? Where do we tend to invest the majority of our time, energy, and resources?
2. What structure can we establish to keep God’s kingdom at the forefront of our thoughts and efforts? What would it look like to consistently pray “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done”?
3. Prayerfully determine the main biblical truth or principle that God revealed to you during your study. A few questions to ask are: Is there a promise for me to claim? Is there a truth for me to believe? Is there a command for me to obey?
4. Memorize: Revelation 20.6a "Blessed and holy is the one who takes part in the first resurrection."
關於此計劃
The Revelation of Jesus Christ is a book about what will happen in the future; but perhaps more importantly, it’s a book about who controls the future. More than sixty years after Jesus rose from the dead, He appears once again to His disciple John to tell him about the things to come. John sees Jesus in a whole new way: He is now risen, glorified, and clearly in charge of the universe. Jesus is Lord of everyone, everywhere, forever. The question for you and me is whether we will trust Him with our lives, believing that He holds both the present and the future in His all-powerful and loving hands.
