Made New Prayer Devotional預覽
THOUGHT OF THE DAY
Whether you’re a husband, wife, son, daughter, sister, or brother, God has gifted you with a measure of influence. In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus tells the parable of the talents. In this parable, Jesus compares three people who were given varying degrees of gifts. Each person decided to use their gift in a different way. One used it abundantly well, the second used their gift to an expected degree, and the third squandered their gift. Similarly, we all have gifts to use in our family. God chose to place you in your specific family. Now, what role is he calling you to fulfill? Today, spend some time inviting the Holy Spirit into this conversation. After praying, spend a few minutes writing down where you think the Holy Spirit may be inviting you to use your gifts in your family during this season.
GUIDED PRAYER
Lord, thank You for blessing me with these talents. Reveal to me how I can bless my friends and family with these gifts. Father, help me to prioritize the ones closest to me in this season. I pray Your blessing over my family, and I ask that Your favour rests upon them. Lord, help me to be a shining light for Christ in my family. Equip me to best serve, submit, and lead in different situations.
Today, lead me into situations where I have the opportunity to bless my family, and help remind me throughout my day how You see my family and help me to see them as You see them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
