"Shema for Fruitful Faith"
The only visible proof of our faith is what we do with it. We can believe in the Torah (God’s Word). But without a lifestyle of active obedience, belief will remain well-meaning thoughts and good intentions. As seen in the lives of Avraham (Abraham), Yitz’chak (Isaac), and Ya’akov (Jacob), each one had to take the first steps of faith before paths were cleared and promises fulfilled. The key to fruitfulness, whether it was a son, a land, an inheritance, or a people, is in believing and acting as if you had received. The Hebrew language has a word, Shema, which means to hear and obey at the same time. As brothers and heirs with Yeshua (Jesus), we can live out active faith by attentively hearing and courageously doing in the power of His Holy Spirit, the Ruach Hakodesh. Reflection / Prayer: Adonai, thank You for putting faith in our hearts and the power of Your Ruach Hakodesh. We want to be a blessing to you, ourselves, and others, not only in words and thoughts, but also in deeds.
