Be Still

Breathe in slowly. What is the Lord inviting you to pay attention to at this moment?

Meditate

Read the Scripture several times. What word or phrase stands out to you? Spend some time meditating on it. What may the Lord be inviting you to notice or do with this word or phrase?

Ponder

Spend some time journaling your answers (or making a voice memo) to the following questions:

• Pay attention to your thoughts today. What themes do you notice? In what ways could you center your thoughts on God throughout the day?
• Ask the Lord for an image, metaphor, or word that He wants you to hold onto in this season of your life.
• Where do you feel the pressure to place yourself in the role of God today? Is there anyone you are attempting to control or manipulate to have your own way?
• What do you need in order to surrender your will to the Lord today?
