All For His Glory預覽
Today we are continuing the story of God revealing his glory to Moses and the Israelites. God gives the ten commandments to Moses, living to display the glory of God needed to look like something. God gave the people these commandments to set them apart as his people.
Yesterday we read how God wanted the Israelites to be a ‘kingdom of priests’ and ‘a holy nation’, a whole group of people who acted as priests. What we see as the passage goes on, though, is that the people are terrified by God’s glory and they ask Moses to speak to God on their behalf. They do not want an intimate relationship with God.
What is amazing is that because of what Jesus has done, Peter, writing many years later can reflect on this passage and say that we can now pick up this promise that God gave to the Israelites to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
Let’s remember to use S.O.A.P. again as we read through today: Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. What does it mean for us to choose to live as a ‘kingdom of priests’ and carriers of God’s glory?

What does it mean to live 'All For His Glory'? This plan looks at how God's glory is revealed in the Bible and how people responded to it. The first week focuses on defining God's glory, the second week on what it means to be a carrier of God's glory through the Holy Spirit, and the third week looks at what it means to live a life of worship.
