Day 13- Presence - He Strengthens Me
- God's Word
So don't worry, because I am with you. Don't be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you; I will support you with my right hand that saves you. Isaiah 41:10 (NCV)
- Today’s Thought
Have you ever thought to yourself, "I don't know if I have what it takes?" So often, we encounter situations where we feel overwhelmed by an expectation someone has placed upon us or a setback in our life that causes us to doubt our ability to handle the situation. Fear is often the emotion that paralyzes us and causes us to question our abilities to respond to the curve balls life throws at us.
The good news is that we are not alone because God is with us. God gives us five promises through Isaiah 41:10 that we need to remind ourselves when we feel weak, overwhelmed, and powerless. He will be with you, He will make you strong, He will help you, He will support you, and He will save you with His victorious right hand. Remember, you have what it takes to overcome whatever fear, inadequacy, or weakness you may experience in life because the creator of the universe, Almighty God, has got your back, and He has you in the palm of his hands.
As we continue to pray this prayer of blessing over family, friends, and our future, let's pray that we will sense God's presence.
- My Prayer
May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace. Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)
Lord, thank you for this reminder today that I am truly never alone. Your presence goes before me, guards my back, and is by my side at all times no matter what I face. Today, I stand on your promises and ask that your strength be felt in my life, family, and friends today. Today, I can move forward with confidence, knowing that your victorious right hand is resting on my life today. In Jesus' name, Amen!

For 20 years, Michelle's father, Dr. Rod Masteller, used "5 P's" taken from the prayer of Aaron to serve as a daily guide to pray God's blessings over his life, family, and friends. In his honor, we have written this devotional as a framework to help you focus on praying for God's provision, protection, presence, power, and peace.
