The Soul Of A Worship Leader預覽
Reset
Do you feel like you’re too connected to your digital devices? It seems like daily we get inundated and clogged with information. Technology of today is the best ever, yet we also have more technical problems than ever. We love our toys and tools, but there’s always the pain of them slowing down, updating and hard cracking under pressure. We find ourselves daily restarting our phones, computers and webpages.
How about your heart, soul and mind - do they, too, need a reset?
He renews our hearts: When we remember the faithfulness of God, and we consider His wonderful acts, we have a renewed sense of our security. He always protects, always provides. Matthew 6:10
It is in these moments when it is right for God to restore the joy of our salvation. He always reminds us of His faithful love that becomes our song. Psalm 59:17 “To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy.”
He restores our souls: What can be more simple than God coming in and pressing your reset button? We see in Psalm 23:3: “He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.”
Sometimes we just simply need to unplug. Take a moment out of your day and breathe in the breath of God. He truly does restore our souls. Job 33:4 “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
He revives our minds: As we were recreated in Christ: we are to put on the new self, filled with mercy, love and wisdom. Colossians 3:10 When our minds are transformed, we begin to think the way of Christ. Our patterns begin to change because our thinking begins to change. Romans 12:2
Our shield and protection doesn’t come from a program or download. Instead, His Word resets our entire being for the purpose of His will, for our good. Stop and reset. Step away from your technology tools and step into the refreshing presence of Christ. Ref. Psalm 18:30, Proverbs 18:10
