Christ Manifested in Us—Part 1預覽
Fulfillment of the Promises
If we want God’s promises to be fulfilled through our own strength, there will come a time when we’ll give up and argue that things will never change. In this state of frustration, it will be easier for God to produce the life of Christ in us. Then with our feeble efforts out of the way, we will know for certain that only God could fulfill His promise. We can stop coming up with ideas to help God, as Sarah did with her slave Hagar to bear the expected son, or in our case the life of Christ in us.
Abraham and Sarah tried to help God fulfill His promise, but the promise was God's and He would keep it without their help. We may have tried many things, whether it be practices or rituals, to manifest the life of Christ in our lives. Years have passed and we haven’t seen the results we hoped for. We could say, “This is it for me, this is my limit, this is how far I can go, and still nothing.”
How can the promise of the Son be produced in us? How did God design the promise to be fulfilled? It’s very simple! We need to allow what we already have within us to manifest. What do we have? The mind of Christ.
We have the mind of Christ, but that mind of Christ is not in our head, it lies in our spirit. It doesn’t come from the brain, it comes from our spirit. In our spirit, in our inner man, there is a different mind to our natural mind, often opposed. All people have a natural mind, but not everyone has the mind of Christ. Only those who are children of God have it.
The children of God have a spiritual mind apart from the natural mind—the mind of Christ. The natural mind is part of our soul that is in the process of transformation. That's the mind that has to be renewed. However, the spiritual mind is complete; it lies in our spirit, it is perfect, and it does not need a transformation. The natural mind is always in the process of learning, but the mind of Christ in us knows absolutely everything—all knowledge, all science, and all wisdom is within us.
關於此計劃
In this plan, we will talk about being grateful, not just for our blessings, but for Christ being manifested in us. There are several things that we should be grateful in this regard, for example, we have the mind of Christ, the faith of the Son of God, the life of the Son, and the Spirit of the Son.
