The Daniel 14-Day Plan預覽
Tuning In
Making healthy choices is easier when you grow in wisdom. Wisdom is practical understanding about how to live well.
One area of wisdom on the journey toward healthier living is learning the skill of choosing the best foods and mastering the practice of reading food labels. A wise person discerns the potentially misleading marketing claims like “natural” or “healthy” and instead goes straight to the list of ingredients in small print. If you don’t know what any of the ingredients are, stay away from that food. For instance, maltose, dextrose, maltodextrin, and evaporated cane juice are all types of sugar. You don’t have to memorize all the types of chemicals and processed ingredients to build wisdom, just use common sense to look for real food and stay away from ingredients you don’t know.
Wisdom grows with practice. Reading labels is a skill that becomes easier—even second nature—with practice. It takes time to tune your ears and eyes, but it’s worth it.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Wisdom is key to living a long and healthy life.
