Live Your Awesome: The Law of Amazement
As a believer, when you recognize the liberty Christ secured for you on the cross of Calvary, you should understand that you are not a prisoner of your past, a product of your environment, or a victim of circumstances. You are not bound to the person you used to be because that no longer serves the person you have the power to become.
I know from personal experience that when you change, not everyone will be pleased and celebrate the change. But the people of quality won’t ask you to explain your change or justify the faith you now have. They will see the sincerity of your heart and the beauty of a rejuvenated soul. They already understand what it takes to put awesome back into a life.
So many people are stuck in their past, hardened by the hardship or embittered by brokenness. But those of us who understand the process know that you are transformed by your trials. Enduring the heat and pressure, which transforms carbons into radiant carats, is a beautiful metaphor for the spiritual, mental, and emotional fortitude that is required for anyone to be transformed from ordinary to extraordinary.
Was this plan helpful to you? It was adapted from my book Goodbye, Yesterday!: Activating the 12 Laws of Boundary-Defying Faith.
