Refresh: 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting预览
John 7:37-39 (NAS) Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, from his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ But this He said in reference to the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
In a previous devotional, I talked about the Holy Spirit; the indwelling, enlightening, empowering of the Holy Spirit. He is with you, and He is in you. In the new birth, you are born of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the one who draws you to Jesus. But that is only the beginning of His work in your life. He is leading, teaching, directing, and guiding you in all that you do, if you have ears to hear.
Out of your innermost being, or out of your belly, or out of your born-again spirit will flow rivers of living water. Jesus was speaking of what was to come on the day of Pentecost when Holy Spirit fell and filled all those in the upper room.
That same experience is available for you! Out of your innermost being, out of your born-again spirit can flow rivers of water that are refreshing to your soul.
Tap into what is already inside your born-again spirit. Receive and release the gift of tongues that is already inside your born-again spirit.
Your affirmation declaration for today is… Thank you Father for the Holy Spirit. Thank you for the gift of tongues that is mine. I now release that tongue by faith and begin to speak in my heavenly language.
