[Unseen Battle] the Battle Is Real预览
Weapons of Warfare
Have you ever heard of blinding lasers in weapons of warfare? It’s new weaponry that’s being developed. As technology advances, so do our weapons of war. It sounds a bit like Star Wars. But they are weapons designed to blind soldiers on the field of battle. Most countries adhere to international laws to minimize the power of those lasers.
But instead of limiting the power of such weaponry, one country took full advantage of its potential to develop a battery-operated CM87 portable laser disruptor. Its desired effect was to injure the eyes of the enemy combatants. By blinding their targets, they render them unable to fight. We don’t have to put much thought into war tactics to understand that soldiers do not have to be utterly destroyed to be rendered useless. Blinding them is enough.
You have an enemy who hates you. He doesn’t have to eliminate or destroy you to take you out of the battle. All he has to do is to render you useless by blinding you to the truth.
What do you believe about God? What did you believe about the gospel of Jesus? What do you believe about the enemy? Many have been blinded by apathy, laziness, lust, money, culture, and politics. There are many people in the church whose eyes are fixed on the political realm. They’re not looking at the spiritual realm. Maybe you were blinded by science, busyness, or exhaustion.
The Spirit of God is the Spirit of life; He has breath, light, and fire. Maybe we’re blinded by exhaustion. It is an easy excuse when you do not go to God daily. When you skip the secret place or fail to pray, you will say, “It’s just too much, God; I’m out.”
Maybe you’re just blinded by unbelief. Do you believe that you’re in an unseen battle? Do you know that you have an enemy? Have you just been rendered almost useless because you’re walking as if you were blind? Maybe you’re choosing to stare at everything else instead of sitting in the secret place to get the discernment you need from God to endure the battle.
Heavenly Father, please open my eyes to the blind spots where the enemy has gotten a hold of me. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
读经计划介绍
We are involved in an unseen battle, whether we believe it or not. We have a real enemy who hates us. We have an opponent committed to stealing from us, killing us, and destroying us. His language is fear, isolation, and accusation. His currency is condemnation. We must watch out for the devil’s schemes because Scripture says our struggle is not against flesh and blood.
