The Believer预览
Moses vs. Jesus (Law vs. Grace)
- Characterized by the law and represented by Moses, the Old Testament represents the old covenant, or agreement, that God made with his people Israel.
- The law was never meant to save anyone; it was meant to show the holiness of God and the sinfulness of sin and to point us to our need of a Savior.
- When Jesus came as the representative of the new covenant, characterized not by the law but by grace, he gave his life as a sacrifice once for all to take away the sins of those who would put their trust in what he accomplished on the cross.
