Let God Be The Leader God wrought a great victory over the Midianites through the hand of Gideon. And all Israel asked Gideon to rule over them. While he takes on this role, Gideon declares that it will not be he who rules but God himself. What does that mean - that in his leadership, Gideon will continue to draw wisdom from God and lead using godly values and principles, knowing that the real leader is God himself. He knew only too well that the victory over the Midianites was not through his capability but through the power of God. Let us as leaders follow Gideon's example in our leadership roles. Prayer: Lord God, as leaders let us continue to draw strength and wisdom from you and know that we need your direction to be effective in our leadership. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
