Christmas in 3 Acts预览
Space
In some traditions of Lenten practice, Sunday is seen as a break or a sabbath from the intentional practices and disciplines that you may have utilised over the previous six days.
Maybe this is not a bad practice for Advent, too.
Here are some ways in which you can be helped to do that:
Light a candle
The very simple act of lighting a candle is not only something that many churches do on “advent Sundays”, but it is also a way for you to personally pause, take stock and review what God has been saying to you this week.
What action, reading, prayer, or question has deepened you most?
Visit a place that gives you some peace and perspective.
Traveling to spaces that are ‘bigger than you’ generates the opportunity for wonder, awe, and perspective. They can become “surrender sites” - places that allow you to unravel and surrender some of the tensions, challenges and attitudes that seem to plague you. You may not be able to travel far, so you may have to become creative with where you go. As you pause there, allow God to speak to you.

This video we made, called With Elevation comes Perspective, has some quotes and questions from this week’s theme, 'Tragedy: Surrender'.
读经计划介绍
In this Advent Infinitum Series, we will be using the themes of Tragedy, Comedy and Fairytale. They will act as doorways into a deeper understanding of surrender, generosity, and mission. Each theme lasts 7 days. The first day will be an introduction. Days 2 to 6 will give you a reading, an experience, a practice, a question, and a prayer. Day 7 is Sabbath, consolidation, review, and recollection.
