Walking Through Miscarriage With God预览
"He IS Faithful"
The song “Never Once” by Matt Redman, has been one of the most impactful songs for my healing process after all my miscarriages. There have been many days where I sat on my bed and just sobbed and sobbed. There were days when I was angry and did not ‘feel’ like praying and had no words for God so I would pray Scripture.
Now, after 5 miscarriages, I can honestly say it was in those moments of sadness and anger that I experienced God’s faithfulness the most. Never once did He ever leave me all alone, even when I was angry, lashing out and devastated. He never turned His back on me. We all are going to have scars, struggles and difficult circumstances in our lives, but it is how we get through them that matter the most.
Will you allow this heartbreak to consume you with depression and anger that you miss out on God’s goodness as you heal? I hope you will choose to seek God! Choose to pray and thank Him for His goodness even if you do not ‘feel’ like doing it! Our God is so faithful, so very faithful. I hope you will lean into God during the next few days and months ahead so that His goodness and grace will begin to fill your heart with joy again.
While your heart will forever remember the precious life that was once inside of you, let it be a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness to you when you were hurting the absolute most. The absolute best way to begin the healing process is by declaring God’s faithfulness verbally. Pray the verses listed below if you have no other words to pray. God is right here with you during this heartache and He will NOT abandon you because He is incapable of abandoning those He loves. You are His beloved and He wants to be your Comforter right now. His faithfulness will see you through every single day.
