3 Weapons of a Spiritual Warrior预览
DAY TWO – Weapon #1: Prayer
When I was growing up, prayer did not seem very powerful to me. But as I got older, I began to realize that every time I got in trouble and began to pray, things started to shift in my life. Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons you can use against the enemy because it is how you bring the authority and power of God into your situation.
Esther pulled out the weapon of prayer when the stakes were high, and many of us do the same thing. But prayer is not just for special occasions. It is not just for circumstances that overwhelm us. Prayer should be a lifestyle.
Esther was no stranger to seeking God. After calling the fast and committing to go before the king, Esther said, “And if I perish, I perish” (Est. 4:16). That means her confidence wasn’t in God working things out a certain way. She trusted God no matter what the outcome was. That kind of confidence isn’t built by attending one prayer meeting or making one trip to the prayer closet. It points to an intimacy with God developed over time.
