Declutter Now! 30 Day Devotional预览
Financial Freedom for God
Obtaining financial freedom is more than just carefully adhering to your budget and making wise choices, although those certainly help! And it’s more than the debt you’ll pay off and the money you’ll save. It’s even more than being obedient to God with good financial stewardship.
So, what could possibly be better than all of those things? Hard to imagine, isn’t it?
It’s about increasing your availability to better serve our great and mighty God! What a worthy ‘pay-off’ that is!
When you make good financial choices by reducing debt and increasing savings, you rid yourself of much unwanted frustration and anxiety. You may eliminate the need for a second job or additional household income. You may not have to put in so many hours at the office. It’s a domino effect that creates wiggle room in so many different areas of life. You can essentially declutter mental stress, an overwhelmed schedule, and increasing career demands while you financially declutter.
The entire premise of decluttering is based on increasing your ability to serve. To have the flexibility to answer when called. God doesn’t always provide a 30 day notice! Sometimes he just says, “Come, follow me…,” remember? Do you want to be ‘that guy’ (or girl) who says, “Sorry God, I can’t help with this, or go there, or contribute with that because I’m too busy, overwhelmed, and cluttered to be able to say yes”? No thank you!
Financial freedom is one more step in being prepared and ready to answer his call.
What will you declutter? Financial burden, stress and anxiety, an overwhelmed schedule, and the inability to be available for God.
