Worth It

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

You are worth it. That is one of the many things that Jesus was saying through His ultimate sacrifice. He saw us, broken and ashamed, and RAN to us with a grace that doesn’t make any sense. Jesus knew the price He would have to pay and STILL chose to take our place.

I’m not sure that I will ever fully comprehend His love or the sacrifice that He made, but with each small increase of understanding I receive, the more I am passionately convinced that I was made to worship Him through everything I do. Whether that’s through singing at the top of my lungs in church, taking care of my kids, or talking to a stranger that He highlights to me, I am convinced because just like He told me that I was worthy, He is worthy of my life and worship.
