THE GREATEST RESCUE MISSION

After three days of prayer and fasting, Esther set out to face the king. We will find in the next few verses that Esther had a plan laid out on how to accomplish her mission. Also, while she knew that what she was about to do was forbidden (approaching the king without being summoned), she took the step of faith, trusting that God will give her favor.

Just as God had a rescue mission for the Israelites then, He also has a rescue mission for every student in every campus today. And while He is more than able to carry it out on His own, He has chosen us, His followers, to be part of the strategy. As we take part in this mission, may we be bold enough to step out in faith amidst all uncertainty, trusting not on our own abilities or on the connections that we have, but only on the power of God.

REFLECT

1. What are things that are holding you back while doing ministry inside your campus?
2. What are the things that you find hard to trust God with (i.e., His ability to prepare and change the hearts of the students you plan to share the gospel to, His ability to grant you favor from school administrators, etc.)?

RESPOND

1. Make a list of the things that God has specifically called you to do in your campus.
2. Pray that God will strengthen your faith and give you the boldness to carry out the things on your list.
