Practicing Intercession

Today is a good, good day. Today, we as a community of women are going to put into action the principle of prayer we have discussed over the last two days. Today, we will intentionally participate in the privilege of intercession.

Grab a pen and paper, and let’s dive in.

Write out a prayer of intercession:

• Identify the need(s) of a person or community. Simply quiet your heart before the Lord and listen as he brings a person or group to mind. Write down their name(s).

• With that person/group on your heart, review the days of instruction and examples of intercession.

• Write a prayer to the Lord on behalf of that person or group of people using the principles of prayer we have learned from the examples of Jesus, Nehemiah and Moses.

• Praise God that He hears your prayer and that He is always, always, always faithful. Amen.
