Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits." Thus, according to the scriptures, whatever we speak will cause us to experience the manifestation of the words we speak. If we speak negative things, we open the door for death to occur in the areas of our hopes, dreams, visions, health, and all other areas of life. Conversely, if we speak positive words, then life will occur.

Among the world's most important water researchers, Dr. Masaru Emoto, shows how water that is surrounded by affectionate, loving, and kindhearted human intention results in magnificent physical molecular formations in the water while water surrounded by disquieted and harsh human intentions results in detached, deformed, and unattractive physical molecular formations.

Part of Dr. Masaru’s research with elementary school students found similar results. “The children said different things to different bottles of water. Whenever the children said, "You're cute," cute crystals formed in the water, but when they said, "You fool," it had the opposite effect. Ignoring the water resulted in the least complete crystals. My belief is that if we refrain from speaking positive words, especially those of God, we make our lives and our surroundings incomplete.

Prayer: Precious Lord, help me to activate the power of your word in my life as I study and meditate on it.

Meditation: Visualize yourself through the lens of God's word. Right now, what are his Holy Scriptures saying to encourage you?

Confession: God made you made me fearfully and wonderfully, so I'll always succeed in my dreams, visions, and purpose because your word dwells in me.
