Don’t lie about silly things, like cleaning up a mess, brushing your teeth, or using soap in the shower. And don’t lie about big things, like cheating or stealing. Even if no one else knows, God always knows, just like He knew when Ananias and Sapphira lied. Your body may not die like theirs did, but the trust others have in you dies when they find out you’re dishonest with them.
