Іоана 15:8-16 НУП

Тим прославиться Мій Отець, що ви принесете багато плоду, і так будете Моїми учнями. Як Отець полюбив Мене, так і Я полюбив вас; пробувайте в Моїй любові. Якщо дотримаєтесь Моїх заповідей, то пробуватимете в Моїй любові, як і Я дотримався заповідей Свого Отця і пробуваю в Його любові. Це сказав Я вам для того, щоб Моя радість пробувала у вас і ваша радість була повна. Оце Моя заповідь, щоб ви любили один одного, як Я полюбив вас. Немає більшої любові від тієї, коли життя своє кладуть за своїх друзів. Ви Мої друзі, якщо робите все, що Я заповідаю вам. Я вже не називаю вас рабами, бо раб не знає, що робить його господар, а Я назвав вас друзями, бо розповів вам усе, що чув від Свого Отця. Не ви Мене вибрали, а Я вас вибрав і поставив вас, щоб ви йшли й приносили плід, і щоб ваш плід пробував, щоб, що тільки попросите в Отця в Моє ім’я, Він дав вам.
