RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOUR REVELATION OF GOD AND OUTCOME I

It is critical that you understand the subject of today, to prevail as a Christian on the journey, and through life's situations. What is your personal revelation of Jesus? The revelation of God that you have, is the secret of your victory. This is not what someone else says or knows about Jesus but your revelation of Jesus. Do you have a personal revelation of Him? You must be clear about this.

The rock that the Lord Jesus referred to in our text is revelation-based knowledge, not sense-based knowledge. This was the difference between Elisha and the sons of the prophet. All of them had access to the information that Elijah would be taken away, but only Elisha knew beyond that. He had revelation beyond the general information that when Elijah is taken, there will be a vacancy in the prophetic, and somebody will have to step in. So he pursued that until he got the double portion of Elijah’s spirit. It is only those who wait for the revelation beyond the information whose lives are changed.

Our quietness and confidence are a product of the revelation we carry inside, not the situations we find ourselves in. The young man who was with Elisha cried unto him in 2 Kings 6 when the King of Assyria sent soldiers to Dothan, where the prophet was. He said, “Alas, my master! How shall we do?” Elisha prayed, and his eyes were opened. When he saw the chariots of fire and horses, he remained quiet. God wants your revelation to change. Your situation may not change, but when your revelation changes, your solution begins.

Prayer: I receive a personal revelation of Jesus over my present situation in Jesus' name. Amen!
