Just Jesus: Answers For LifeÖrnek
Passion
Passion may be the fire in your heart that motivates you to follow your desires, but it is also much more. Sometimes a will of steel lies behind ardent desire. We all like to think that passion is about boundless enthusiasm, but it is also about suffering. The Passion of Christ is the period just before Jesus went to the cross. He had to suffer death in order that you might be freed from sin and live life abundantly. Passion comes from the Latin “passio” which literally means to endure or suffer. Be conscious about your true desires, why you do what you do. Be willing to suffer through life challenges in order to see your desires through to completion. Passion is more than a desirous feeling. It is an act of your will that strengthens you.
Memory Verse
“...Rejoice!...” Matthew 28:9.
Declaration Prayer
I am God’s child. I am a member of Christ's body. I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins. I am complete in Christ. I am free from condemnation. I have been established, anointed and sealed by God. I am confident that God will complete the good work He started in me. I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me. I am God's temple. I am a minister of reconciliation for God. I am seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly realm. I am God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do.
