Speak What You Seek

If you're going to live your life of victory, you must speak positive words of faith and declare what God says about you and your situation.

When the prison doors shut me in and the lights were turned off, darkness filled my heart and the easiest thing to do was give up and get depressed.

When the time of adversity comes, what do you say about your situation? Ipinapahayag mo ba na ikaw ay isang overcomer through Christ? O paulit-ulit mong sinasabi sa iyong sarili na, I'm doomed and stuck, there's no way out of here. I had to face the consequences of my actions, but knowing that God won't leave me nor forsake me throughout my ordeal made it a lot easier to walk through that journey.

Kahit sino ay kayang maging positive sa mga panahong maayos ang lahat at hindi nakararanas ng kakulangan; sa panahong maayos ang lahat. But the way you respond when adversity comes will make you or break you. When you're standing alone in the middle of your cell at night, when everyone else has turned their backs on you, when you're awaiting trial in court, when you're down to the wire and your cheque balance is on the red at halos magpatung-patong na ang iyong mga bayarin, when you're lying in bed with sickness - what you say will have a direct impact on the outcome.

Don't look at the facts of your situation. Look at the truth of God's Word. Ipahayag mo ang katotohanan ni Hesus sa iyong situation. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. No matter how inadequate or unqualified you may feel, remember that He promised to strengthen you and enable you.
