Jesus offers new life.

How could God the Father send His Son, Jesus, to be crucified? Maybe you've wondered why a loving God would do something that seems so cruel. Easter is a time of celebration and not grieving because Jesus knew He would rise again and wasn't forced to go to the cross. The Bible says Jesus went willingly. He knew, just like God the Father, that His suffering and death were the only way to bring broken humanity back into a relationship with God. Jesus foretold His own death, saying, “I tell you the truth; unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone, but its death will produce many new seeds, a plentiful harvest of new lives.”
