God, Increase!Halimbawa
“He must become greater; I must become less.”
All of us have different callings.
For John it was to preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins (Luke 3:3).
In John’s ministry, John made sure he took the back seat and gave Jesus the front seat.
John decreased, while Jesus increased.
John humbled himself before God.
He gave up everything that was not of God; so he could have all of God.
How are we allowing God to increase in our lives?
When we surrender our daily life to Jesus, we allow Him to take over our mind and will.
We abandon all selfish desires and motives and make room for Him.
Allowing Him to increase in our life sounds hard and difficult, but the truth is it could be as simple as…
Saying no to gossip.
Cooking a meal for your loved one.
Taking care of someone who is sick.
Giving generously to someone in need.
Lending a listening ear.
Giving up your right to be offended.
Showing up for people even when it’s hard.
Forgiving someone who hurt you.
Walking the extra mile.
Let God shine through your life in all ways; big and small.
You can be a homemaker or a pastor, a student or a businessman, a doctor or a chef… In every passing moment choose to say “God have Your way! Not my will but let Yours be done.”
With every act of surrender He increases!

This 3 day Bible plan is based on the Bible verse John 3:30. This verse talks about “God increasing and we decreasing.” This plan reminds us to make more room for God; by surrendering to Him every moment of our lives. This Scripture has also been the heart behind the Hindi worship song “Badhta,” released by Outcast. We hope the devotion and the song bless you as much as it has blessed us.
